The AI revolution is unfolding before our eyes, with widespread impact across industries, applications, and occupations.
Yet many of us, especially those without an IT or CS background, are observing AI’s relentless march from the sidelines. “AI FOR ENGINEERS” offers a clear and practical dive into AI.
Amid discussions of AI’s impact, one axiom resounds: “AI may not replace you, but someone who knows AI will.” This short training aims to help you grow the wings to ride the wave of AI instead of being swept by it.
WHO THIS TRAINING IS FOR?
This training is designed for engineers from traditional disciplines—mechanical, electrical, civil, chemical, etc.—who want a clear, practical understanding of AI without diving into computer science or coding. This program is for you if you are an engineer who:
- Has little or no exposure to AI’s inner workings or coding
- Is curious but feels unsure where to begin
- Wants clarity, not technical overload
- Needs to engage with AI-driven tools
- Prefers understanding how something works before using it
- Wants to leverage AI for career growth
TRAINING OBJECTIVES
- To demystify AI, dispelling the notion that it’s an enigmatic black box reserved for tech specialists.
- To equip participants with clarity and confidence to navigate and leverage AI in their professional journeys.
TRAINING OUTLINE
The training is delivered in two focused modules, designed to build understanding step by step.
MODULE 1: AI UNDER THE HOOD
This module builds foundational clarity:
- What AI really is (and what it isn’t)
- AI—a big deal, as everyone claims?
- AI, ML, DL, Gen AI—clearly explained & differentiated
- Where AI agents fit into picture
By the end of this module, AI will feel familiar, not intimidating or mysterious.
MODULE 2: HANDS-ON AI
This module focuses on application and real action with AI.
- No-code AI tools (guided, hands-on exploration)
- High-impact engineering use cases of AI
- Building with AI—your inspirations
- AI & your career
By the end of this module, AI will feel like any other tool you feel confident using.
